A memorial Mass for Dorothy Ann Beckman will be at 11:00am on Monday June 2, 2014 at Resurrection Catholic Church with Rev. Kevin Connolly officiating. The visitation will be one hour prior to the service.

Dorothy Ann (Hilinski) Beckman, 88, of Rochester passed away on May 30th, 2014 at Samaritan Bethany Nursing Home on 8th.

Dorothy was born on September 19, 1925 in Cloquet, MN to Walter and Charlotte (Wujkowski) Hilinski. She married Edward Beckman on February 26, 1949 and later divorced.  Dorothy enjoyed golfing on a league at Eastwood and Soldier's Field golf courses, playing bingo, fishing and being in the outdoors.  She worked as a Registered Nurse for St. Marys Hospital and Assisi Heights.  She was also a PCA for Mark Lowry for eight years.

She is survived by her sons Bradley (Judy) Beckman of Rochester, Gregory Beckman of Eyota and Colin Beckman of Elk River; her daughter Julie Gikas of Maple Grove; eight grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren.  She is preceded in death by her granddaughter Charlotte Beckman; four brothers and four sisters.

She was the best mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend.  Sharing her love for life and her wisdom with all.

Memorials are preferred to Mayo Clinic for dialysis and kidney research.
