Donald Brown, 92, of Rochester, MN, died Tuesday, September 28, 2021 at Samaritan Bethany in Rochester.

Donald was born August 26, 1929 in Stewartville, MN to Nolo and Ruth (Runkle) Brown. He attended country school in rural Stewartville. On April 2 , 1948, he married Elaine Kath. The couple lived and raised their three children in Rochester. Donald worked at Rochester Dairy/AMPI Dairy for most of his life. Donald enjoyed pheasant hunting, fishing, watching baseball, and spending time with his grandchildren. He enjoyed spending most of his time with his black cat named "Kitty".

Donald is survived by his children: Gerald (Marlynn) Brown, Robert Brown, and Deborah (Bruce) Schmidt all of Rochester; grandchildren: Tera Hagen, Brandi Swenson, Justin Brown, Jarrad Brown, Jessica Stutzman, Shana Schmidt, Jason Brown, and Joshua Brown; 13 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great-grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his wife Elaine; three sisters; and a brother.

A Memorial Gathering will be held Friday, October 8, 2021 from 4:00-7:00pm at the River Park Chapel at Macken Funeral Home. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery in Stewartville at a later date.
