The funeral Mass for Diane Marie Kuhn will be 11:00am Friday December 11, 2009 at Christ The King Catholic Church in Byron with Father Paul Surprenant officiating.  Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery in Rochester.

Diane Marie Kuhn, age 66, of Byron passed away in her sleep at her home on Monday.  She was born to Leland and Rose Whitman on February 13, 1943 in St. Cloud.  She was later adopted by her stepfather Dale Buffington and lived in Dodge Center.  She moved to Rochester in 1957 and graduated from John Marshall in 1961.  In 1964 she married Karl Kuhn at St. Francis Parish in Rochester.  In 1967 the couple moved to Byron.  She worked at the Methodist Hospital, Merry Maids and St. Marys Hospital.  She also ran a daycare out of her home for many years while raising her children.  She was a member of Christ The King Catholic Church in Byron.  Diane actively enjoyed fishing and the outdoors.  She also loved classic movies and enjoyed doing puzzles and cross words.

She is survived by her husband of 45 years; 1 son Ross (Laura) Kuhn of Byron; 1 daughter Theresa Kuhn of Byron; 3 grandchildren Courtney, Kindra, Keegan; two brothers David Buffington of Rochester and John Nelson of Byron; one sister Melody Koepsell (John) of Plainview; 8 nieces and nephews.

Friends may call from 5:00pm to 7:00pm Thursday December 10 ^th at Christ The King Catholic Church in Byron and from 10:00am to the time of the service on Friday.  There will be a prayer service at 7:00pm

Memorials may be designated to the donor's choice.
