Obituary

Dennis James Kerrigan, 63, of Rochester, MN, died Friday, August 21, 2020 at his home.

Dennis was born July 16, 1957 in Superior, WI to Leo and M. Genevieve (Frappier) Kerrigan. He graduated from Lourdes High School in 1975. Following graduation, he joined his father at the family business, Kerrigan Oil Equipment. Dennis worked there for many years before moving to Boston, MA. After returning to Rochester he worked at Rochester Ford until his retirement.

Dennis had a great sense of humor, loved watching the Twins, Vikings, and NASCAR, and going hunting and fishing. His greatest joy was spending time with his family and visiting with them on the phone.

He is survived by his siblings, Pat (Paul) Ronnenberg, Cindi (Joe) Donohue, Dan (Karin) Kerrigan, Donald (Renate) Kerrigan, Debra (Gordon) Reberry, Deanna (Tom) Stower, Danita Kerrigan; 20 nieces and nephews; 22 great-nieces and nephews; and many other relatives and friends.

Dennis was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Michael Kerrigan; and many relatives.

The memorial gathering for Dennis will be held from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. with a prayer service beginning at 2:45 p.m. on Saturday, August 29, 2020 in the River Park Chapel at Macken Funeral Home. Burial will be in St. Patrick's Cemetery in Ridgeway, MN.
