Delta Marie "Irish" Born age 90 of Rochester, passed away on June 5, 2011 at Sunrise Cottages in Rochester. Delta Marie Bradish was born on June 7, 1920 in Mankato, MN to Charles and Lucinda Bradish. As a child, Delta and her family moved to Rochester. During her younger years, she worked as a waitress at the Heidelberg Tavern and the Town House Restaurant. She later worked at Osco and Snyder Drug stores, Tempo Department Store, and Waters Conley. In 1938, Delta married Lee Bengtson in Rochester. Together, they had four children and were later divorced. She then married Donald Born on April 16, 1960 in New Hampton, IA. The couple had two children. At the time of Delta's death, they had been married for 51 years. Delta loved "find the word" searches, and putting together puzzles. She especially loved her dog of 17 years, "Dolly", a teacup poodle.

Survivors include her husband Don, four children, Steven (Diane) Bengtson and Jeffrey (Jackie) Born both of Rochester, Janet Lloyd of Kaispell, Montana, John Born of Motley, MN, and a sister, Ruby Rose of Rochester. She is survived by many grand, great-grand, and great-great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by two sons, Charles and William Bengtson, two sisters, three brothers, and three grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 10 ^th 2011 at 11:00AM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (2300 Viola Road Northeast Rochester, MN 55906) With Bishop Brent Larson officiating.  Burial will be in Grandview Memorial Gardens Rochester. Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 09, 2011 from 5:00PM – 7:00PM at the new River Park Chapel at Macken Funeral Home, and one hour prior to services at the church.
