The memorial service for Delores J. "Lolly" Ackman will be at 11:30 a.m., Saturday, February 5, 2011 at River Park Chapel at Macken Funeral Home in Rochester, MN with Rev. William Otte presiding.  Visitation will be held from 10:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. immediately preceding the memorial service.  Burial will be at a later date at Grandview Memorial Gardens in Rochester.

Lolly Ackman died on January 29, 2011 at Northern Pines Care Center in Aurora, MN.  She was born on January 1, 1917 and married to Alvin Alfred Ackman until his death in 1997.  The couple lived in and around Rochester until 2004 when Mrs. Ackman moved to Duluth.

Survivors include her sister, Phyllis (Robert) Mannie of New Prague, MN; three children Joan Gardner of Stewartville, MN, Dean (Laura) Ackman of Duluth, MN and Richard (Shirley) Ackman of Blaine, MN; six grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and one great, great grandchild.  She was preceded in death by her husband and a brother.

She loved collecting knick-knacks and playing cards.  Memorials are preferred to Northern Pines Care Center in Aurora, MN.
