Mr. Kulzer, 74, of Rochester, MN died Saturday, August 10, 2019 at his residence.  David was born on July 2, 1945 in Melrose, MN, to Roman and Adelinde (Terhaar) Kulzer.

He married Karen R. Otis of Rochester, MN (formerly of Iowa) at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Rochester, MN in 1975, and the couple has resided with their family in Rochester since then.

Mr. Kulzer worked for the State of Minnesota in the Department of Public Safety for over 20 years as a Driver's License Examiner and Station Supervisor. Upon retirement, he spent time volunteering at nursing homes and had a special ministry to the elderly. He had a very deep faith and commitment to God.

Survivors include his wife, Karen; three children, Jennifer, Anne (Chris) Moberg, and Stephen; three grandchildren, Marina, Samuel and Rachel Moberg; one brother, and six sisters. He is preceded in death by his parents and one brother.

Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 17, 2019 at Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Rochester, with visitation starting one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in the Calvary Cemetery Columbarium in Rochester.
