Darrel Ruddick, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, age 89, of Rochester, MN, passed away peacefully on May 7, 2023. He is preceded in death by parents, Fred and Nellie, and brothers, Stanley and Donald. He is survived by wife of 59 years, Rita (Taschner), daughter, Kathy (Kevin) Hennessey of Rochester MN, son, David (Crista) Ruddick of Seattle WA, and grandchildren, Erin and Anna Hennessey, and Abbie and Ella Ruddick, nieces, Janelle Petterssen, Barb Nierengarten, and Laurie Pichert.

The funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, May 11 ^th at the Co-Cathedral of St. John the Evangelist Church on 11 4 ^th Ave SW, Rochester, MN 55902. Visitation will be held one hour preceding the service.
