Daniel "Dan" Joseph Vale, age 53 of Rochester, passed away peacefully on Monday, March 30, 2015.

A Celebration of his life will be held at the Eagles Club Rochester on April 11, 2015 from 1:00pm to 5:00pm.

Dan was born on January 18, 1962 in Rochester to Anna and Ralph Vale. He worked locally as an automobile mechanic for ten years, then moved to New Mexico for six years before returning to Rochester and working as a sheet metal worker for over twenty years. He recently attended Rochester Community and Technical College, graduating with high honors in Building/Utility Maintenance. Dan enjoyed camping, motorcycling, and spending time with his children and grandchildren.

He is survived by mother Anna Vale of Rochester, his three daughters, Jamie (John) Hubert of Stewartville, Crystal Vale of Rochester, Kaitlin Vale of Rochester, his sister Karen Abelson of Owatonna, his brother Josh Vale of Eyota, nine grandchildren Shawn Rob, Sindel Hubert, Kloe Hubert, Elijah Hubert, AJ Hubert and soon-to-be baby Hubert, step daughter Shawna Rud and best friend Kelli Rud both of Rochester. He is also survived by his faithful dog companion, Hopper.

He is preceded in death by his father Ralph, two sisters Kris Abelson and Kim Campion.

Dan's wishes were to have his ashes taken to New Mexico.
