Daniel Wayne (Danny) Alberts – Rochester

Daniel Wayne Alberts, 62, of Rochester, MN, passed away unexpectedly of natural causes at his home Monday, January 4, 2021. Danny was born the fourth child of nine on October 27, 1958 to Raymond J and Virginia Alberts. He graduated from Lourdes High in 1978, and went on to earn a business degree from Winona State University.

Danny enjoyed classic rock, fishing, and visits with his brothers in Colorado. Danny's greatest love was his family, and especially the annual Alberts family Christmas and summer picnics. His best friend was his father whom he shared love for the Minnesota Gophers and Twins with. They spent many good times attending sporting events together.

He is survived by his father Ray; eight siblings, Greg Alberts of Washington, Nancy (Bob) Kinkaid of Rochester, MN, Steve (Carol) Alberts of Colorado, Jane (Shelton) Otte of Minneapolis, MN, Allison Alberts, Ted (Connie) Alberts, Pam Alberts, Stephanie (Wayne) Johnson of Minneapolis, MN; and 24 nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his mother Virginia.

There will be a private family service on Wednesday, January 5, 2021, in the River Park Chapel at Macken Funeral Home. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery in Rochester.

Danny will be forever missed by his family.
