In Memoriam

Dang Thanongrit of Rochester, MN passed away peacefully on January 1st, 2025, at the age of 103.

Born in China to Duong and Lot Thanongrit, Dang began his life as a farmer before relocating to Laos. He eventually settled in the United States in 1984.

He is reunited with his beloved wife, Lakham Thanongrit, and his grandchild, Khamkeo, in heavenly peace.

His remarkable life will forever be cherished by his children: Mainor Thanongrit (Un), Kongkham Thanongrit (Lafong), Michael Thanongrit, Chamkham Somphanith (Bounmee), Khampeng Louprasong (Sukhad), and by his beloved grandchildren: Katie (Thum), Vee (Jesse), Pone (Sambol), Tony (Amy), Amy, Jordan, Anika, and Ava, as well as his great-grandchildren: Christian, Tyden, Ayla, Katsanee, Hudson, Brynlee, and Bodhi.

Grandpa Dang will always hold a special place in our hearts and his memory will live on forever.
