Obituary

Clinton G. Kueker, 85, of Rochester, MN, entered into our Lord's arms on February 3, 2021.

He was born on January 20, 1936 in Truman, MN to William and Edith (Ubbens) Kueker. He graduated from Rochester Senior High School in 1956. He married Sharon Marie Peters in 1960 in Rochester, MN.

Clint was a man of many interests, including writing, obtaining one of the largest Lone Ranger collections, acting, and cartooning. Clint especially enjoyed creating cartoons of his fellow colleagues while serving as a police officer and retired as a Police Sergeant with the Rochester Police Department after 33 years. As a child, Clint stated he wanted to either be a cowboy or a police officer; he decided to be both.

After retirement, Clint discovered the rewards of volunteering in areas of personal interest. He volunteered with the American Red Cross and the Federal Bureau of Prison, Rochester, where he directed the Old Time Radio Theater where inmates discovered their love for theater. Clint loved tinkering with automobiles and rebuilt a Kaiser Frazier, and had it painted his favorite color brown. He loved to drive it around town with his daughters.

Clint was the most devoted and loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather.

He is survived by his wife Sharon; daughters, Trudy (Colin) Russell, Tracy (Robert) Volk and Tonya (Thomas) Wolter; granddaughter, Danielle (Evan) Ottaviani; and two great-grandchildren, Emery and Evelyn Louise Ottavani.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Gloria Fossum; and grandson, Brandon D. Stonionis.

The Kueker Family is grateful for the loving care provided by Seasons Hospice and Samaritan Bethany. The past year under COVID-19 has been challenging for all working in long term care. We appreciate your dedication and loving care of Clint. As Clint might say, "Get 'em up, big fella. Hi Ho Silver Away!"

The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, February 9, 2021 in the River Park Chapel at Macken Funeral Home. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery in Rochester.

In lieu of flowers we suggest memorials to Seasons Hospice, Zion Lutheran Church, Stewartville, or to a charity of choice.
