Christine Marie McAlister 68, passed away at home in Rochester, MN, June 10, 2026, after courageously battling cancer for a year and a half.

Christine was born October 19, 1957 in Rochester, MN to Lester and Doris McAlister. She graduated from Pine Island High School in 1976. On September 1, 1978 she married Alan Kingsbury. They welcomed their only daughter Samantha Jo on June 12, 1983.

Christine loved crafting, cooking, reading, and was involved with the pro-life movement for many years. Her greatest loves were her grandchildren; Jeremiah (Lesi), Alexis, Ashton and Preston, whom she called her love bugs. Most recently she added her itty-bitty love bugs, her great-grandchildren; Arabella, almost two years old and Isiah seven months old.

She is survived by her daughter, Samantha Jo of Rochester, MN; brothers, Mark (Jackye) of Plymouth, MN, and Steven of Rochester, MN; sister, Mary McAlister of Rochester, MN; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

A Graveside Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 13, 2026 at Calvary Cemetery.
