The funeral for Charlotte E. "Char" Schaub will be at 2:00pm Wednesday, May 25, 2011 at the River Park Chapel at Macken Funeral Home in Rochester with Pastor Terry Rasmussen and Pastor Brian Smith co- officiating.  Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service on Wednesday at the River Park Chapel.  Burial will be at 1:00pm, Friday May 27, 2011 at Riverside Cemetery near Winnebago, MN.

Mrs. Schaub, 74, of Rochester passed away Tuesday May 18, 2011 at St. Marys Hospital of natural causes.

Charlotte Ellen Vaughn was born on July 9, 1936 in Towner, ND to Charles and Clara (Nelson) Vaughn.  She married Richard Schaub in 1957; Richard passed away in 1986.  Char worked for many years as a supervisor at St. Marys Hospital before retiring.  She enjoyed arts and crafts, sewing, needle work and cross stitching.

She is survived by her daughters, Bonilou Schaub of Rochester, Gwendolyn (John) Hernandez of Frost, MN and Susan K. of Eden Prairie, MN; one son, Philip David Schaub of Rochester; three grandchildren and seven great grandchildren; sisters Alice Tibbals of Minot, ND and Louise (Wilbur) Harsch of Pick City, ND.  She is preceded in death by her husband, one great grandchild, one brother and three sisters.

Memorials are preferred to "Operation Smile" which provides free surgeries to repair cleft lip, cleft palate and other facial deformities for children around the globe.
