Caroline Ann Sanders was born August 22, 1931 in New Prague, MN to Edward and Emma Tupy. She was united in marriage to Clayton "Bud" Sanders on September 14, 1957. She was a homemaker, worked in Interpretation Services at Mayo Clinic, and did secretarial work. She enjoyed writing, loved flowers, pets, and most of all, spending time with her family.

Following a long battle with Parkinson's Disease, Caroline died peacefully at her home on August 8, 2016 at the age of 84.

Caroline is survived by her husband Bud, her two children Natalie (Mike) Stone of Madison, WI, and Alan (Jenna) Sanders of Rochester, her two grandchildren Shannon (Kent) Collier and Sawyer Stone, her sister Irene of Minneapolis and many nieces, nephews and other extended family. She was preceded in death by her parents and her niece Linda.

The Memorial Service for Caroline will be held at 4:00pm on Friday, August 12, 2016 in the River Park Chapel at Macken Funeral Home. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service in the chapel. Burial of Caroline's ashes will be in Grandview Memorial Gardens of Rochester.
