The funeral for Brittany Lea Ruport will be at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, December 23, 2010 at St. John's Lutheran Church in Kasson, MN with the Pastor Marie AK Anderson and Pastor Warren Anderson officiating.  Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery in Mantorville, MN.  Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church on Thursday.  Brittany, 12, of Mantorville, died Monday (December 20, 2010) at her home.

Brittany was born January 23, 1998 in Rochester Methodist Hospital to Mark and Tonia (Bakke) Ruport.  She attended Kasson-Mantorville Schools.  Brittany lived with her parents and brother, Brendan in Mantorville.

Survivors include her parents and brother Brendan Ruport at home; maternal grandparents, Curt and Mary Bakke of Mabel; two uncles, Tony and Todd of Mabel;  an aunt, Tina Bakke of Mabel; cousins, Dalton Gossman-Bakke of Decorah IA, Keser Wenthold of Mabel and Lexis Thorson of Mabel.    She is also survived by paternal grandparents, Allan and Sylvia Ruport of Kasson, an aunt, Lynn Ruport (Scott) Okuno; and cousins, Briana, Kelsey, Madison Okuno of Rochester.

She is preceded in death by her uncle, Trevor Bakke.

Brittany immensely enjoyed the time she spent with family and friends.
