Brandon "Barney" Brown – Rochester

Brandon "Barney" John Brown, 56, passed away peacefully at St. Marys Hospital on Saturday, August 6, 2016. He was born in Rochester on November 8, 1959 to Kenneth and Joan (Grabko) Brown.

A funeral Mass will be offered 11:00am Tuesday, August 16 ^th at Resurrection Catholic Church, officiated by Rev. Shawn Haremza.  Visitation will be from 5:00pm to 7:00pm Monday, August 15 ^th in the River Park Chapel of Macken Funeral Home and one hour prior to the service at the church on Tuesday. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.

Barney was a graduate of Byron High School in 1978. He spent most of his adulthood working as an electrician. He most recently was employed at Geotek Inc. in Stewartville. In his spare time, he enjoyed doing mechanical work and he was a big NASCAR fan.

Barney is survived by his parents, one daughter, a granddaughter, a grandson, one brother, and three sisters. He was preceded in death by a brother.

The family wishes to thank the Mayo Clinic doctors and nurses for their wonderful care.
