Betty J. Treadwell, 98, of Rochester, MN passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 6, 2026 at Cottagewood Senior Living.

Betty was born November 3, 1927 in Johnson City, New York to Leonard and Ethel Wright. On November 19, 1949 she married Charles Burton Treadwell, also from New York. In 1956 they moved to Rochester, MN where Charles worked for IBM.

Betty was a Licensed Practical Nurse at Lourdes Hospital in New York before starting a family. She loved dancing the jitterbug, puzzles, watching sports with Charles, and entertaining friends and family. Holidays were always entertaining with food galore.

She is survived by three children, Dana Treadwell, Dianne Fitch, and Denise Holubar, 4 grandchildren, and 8 great grandchildren. She was preceeded in death by her husband, Charles, a daughter Elizabeth, 2 brother, and 2 sisters.

There will be a private family graveside service at Grandview Memorial Gardens.
