Bee Chang was born in Ban Vinai Refugee Camp, Thailand, on December 8, 1983. He passed away on November 29, 2022 at the age of 38. Bee was the 6 ^th child out of 8 children. He was the youngest brother. Bee is survived by his parents, Youa Kao and Teng, 3 brothers – Lee, Hue, and Vang, and 4 sisters – Mai Yia, Mai Yer, Nou, and Sandy.

Bee graduated from John Marshall High School in Rochester, MN. He continued his education at Rochester Community Technical College, MN. Bee spent his career helping other people as a caretaker. He liked to be active and enjoyed fishing, canoeing, and biking. He loved listening to country music and watching sports on TV. Bee was a very humble, patient, and caring person. He never said no to helping anyone in need. He was dependable and always showed up when he was needed the most. He loved his family greatly. His greatest goal in life was to ensure the happiness and success of his brothers, sisters, and parents. He will be forever loved and missed.

A funeral service for Bee will be held Sunday, December 11, 2022, at 12:30pm in River Park Chapel at Macken Funeral Home with Rev. Thomas Loomis officiating. Visitation will be from 9:00am – 12:15pm at the funeral home. Interment will be Monday, December 12, 2022, at 10am at Woodlawn Cemetery in Stewartville, MN.
