Arloyce Kraskey passed away Tuesday, January 17, 2012 in Rochester Minnesota at the age of 75, after a year long battle with cancer.  She was born February 1, 1936 in Red Eye Township, Minnesota to Carl and Bertha (Peterson) Olson.

Mrs. Kraskey attended country school #45 and graduated from Sebeka High School in the class of 1953.  She married Jerry Kinnunen.  She worked at the Co-op in Menahga and together the couple ran the Huntersville Store until 1959.  They moved to Grand Rapids where she was employed at Kremer's National Foods Grocery Store which then became KentMark IGA.  Mr. Kinnunen passed away in 1966.  She married James Kraskey in 1970.  In 1987, they moved to Rochester where she again worked in the grocery business for Mr. P's.  Her love and devotion to her family was of the utmost importance to her.  She held open arms to all children and welcomed everyone into her life.  Her love for her outside flowers was obvious to any person who passed by her yard.  Everyone praised her work as they took their afternoon strolls through the neighborhood.

She is survived by her husband James, daughter Dianne (Pat McCormick) of Sebeka, son Duane (Mary) Kinnunen of High Falls, Georgia, sister Ardelle (Richard) Erdmann of Rapid City, SD, brother Gerald Olson of Menahga, brother-in-law Allen Kinnunen, sister-in-law Bonnie Kinnunen, grandchildren, Gerald Kinnunen, Krystal Kinnunen, Angie McCabe, two great-grandchildren, Maya Harris, Delaney McCabe, a special grandson, Rylan Bearden and numerous nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents, first husband Jerry, sister Arlene Borghi and brothers, Charles, Edwin, Ernie and Roy Olson.

A Memorial Service will be held at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, January 19, 2012 at the River Park Chapel Macken Funeral Home with the Rev. Linda Helberg officiating.  There will be a visitation held Thursday, one hour prior to the service at the River Park Chapel Macken Funeral Home.

Interment will be held at a later date.
