The memorial service for Ardyce D. Galle will be held at Resurrection Evangelical Lutheran Church, 4520 19 ^th Avenue NW, Rochester, at 2:00PM on Saturday, December 7, 2013 with Pastor Jon Bitter officiating.  A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service on Saturday at the church.  Burial of ashes will be at a later date in Ft. Snelling National Cemetery in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Mrs. Galle, 84, passed away on Sunday, December 1, 2013 as a result of liver cancer.

Ardyce was born on October 27, 1929 near Vesta, Minnesota.  She graduated from Milroy Public High School in 1947.  She married Daniel Galle on May 2, 1959.

She was a resident of Gramercy Park Apartments, Rochester, and most recently of Golden Living Center West.  She was a long-time employee of IBM until her retirement and was a member of Resurrection Evangelical Lutheran Church of Rochester.

She is survived by sisters, DeLila Boyer and Betty Smith; brothers, Donald Viergutz (Gladys) and Wilbert "Jr." Viergutz (Eileen); and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Daniel; an infant son; her parents, Wilbert and Hulda (Lemcke) Viergutz; brother, Myron Viergutz; nephew, John Boyer; an infant niece, Amy Viergutz, and brothers-in-law, Roy Smith and Bob  Boyer.

Ardyce enjoyed playing golf, traveling and volunteering.  Her perky personality leaves behind many friends and fond memories.

Family prefers memorials be made to The American Cancer Society, Ronald McDonald's House or Resurrection Evangelical Lutheran Church.
