The funeral service for Angeline E. "Angie" Lica will be held at 1:00PM on Friday, May 6, 2011 at Zumbro Lutheran Church in Rochester officiated by Pastor Jason Bryan-Wegner.  Burial will be in Grandview Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour prior to services at the church.

Angeline E. Lica passed away on Tuesday, May 3, 2011 at Maple Manor Nursing Care.

Angeline E. Lee was born on October 10, 1923 in St. Cloud, MN to Carl and Mabel Lee. When Angie was a young girl, the family moved to Rochester, where she ultimately graduated from Rochester High School.  After graduating from high school in 1943, she enlisted in the US Navy and became a WAVE.  She returned to Rochester and began work at Mayo Clinic.  On August 4, 1947 she married Lambert "Lam" Lica in Rochester.  She later retired from JC Penny's after over 20 years of service.  Angie was a loving mother, and worked very hard to ensure that her family was well provided for. Angie resided at Sunrise Cottages for eight years prior to her death.  She enjoyed playing cards, sewing and knitting.

Angie is survived by a daughter, Deborah Ann (Todd) Morgenstern of Savage, MN, a son, James Phillip (Donna) Lica of St. Paul, a sister Martha (Roger) Carlson of Rochester, a daughter-in-law Shirley Lica of Austin,  two grandsons, Andy and Allen Lica both of Rochester, and a sister-in-law, Jeanette Lica Nichols of Rochester.

She is preceded in death by her husband Lambert, a son Thomas, two sisters, and a brother.
