Andrzej Dobrzynski, age 68 of Rochester, passed away on October 9, 2012 at his home following a battle with cancer.

Andrzej was born in Lublin, Poland on December 1, 1943. He graduated from Gdansk Poland University in 1972 with a degree in engineering. On August 1, 1970, he married Bogumila Bokinec. They came to the US in 1983.

He is survived by his wife Bogumila Dobrzynski, his daughters Renata McGovern (Steve Pederson), Joanna Johnson (Eugene Schneider), Regina Lewis (Jason Duncan) and grand-daughters Jazlin Johnson, Julia Johnson, and Sydney Duncan.

He is preceded in death by his parents Wladslaw and Halina Dobrzynski and a sister Ewa Gluszek.

A Funeral Mass will be held at St John the Evangelist Catholic Church at 10:00AM on Saturday, October 13, 2012. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery.
