Alice A. Glynn "Nana" passed away on October 3, 2009 at the Olmstead Medical Center Hospital. She was born on July 10, 1918 in Preston, MN. She spent her childhood in southeastern Minnesota.  She married Henry A. Wilson , the couple later divorced. She later married Homer J. Glynn, who passed away in 2002.

She spent her working years as a waitress at several different  establishments in the Rochester area.  She was a charter member of Women of the Moose in Rochester. She enjoyed spending time with  family and friends. Grandchildren and great grandchildren held a very special place in Nanas heart, Coffee, not too strong and not too weak were always enjoyed. Trips to the casino, playing bingo, sewing, crocheting and camping also occupied her time.

She is survived by a brother: Howard Gilbertson of Chatfield, and her children: Allen H. Wilson ( Marie) of Rochester, Nancy L. Mielke of Rochester, and Grandchildren: Ricky Barnhart (Tina) of Derby, KS, Cindy Cunningham (Kim) of Rochester, Randy Barnhart of Rochester, Terry Barnhart (Barb) of Red Lodge, MT. DeAnna Wilson of Rochester, Dennis Wilson (Stacey) of Rochester. 14 great grandchildren and seven great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husbands, three brothers, a sister, a grandson and a great-great grandson.

Her funeral will be held on Thursday, October 8, 2009 at 2:00PM at Macken Funeral Home with Rev. Lester Horntvedt offiating.  Burial will be at Union Cemetery in Pleasant Grove, MN.  Visitation will be Wednesday October, 7 2009 from 5:00PM to 8:00PM at Macken Funeral Home and one hour prior to services on Thursday.
