Alice M. Brady, age 91 of Rochester, died Tuesday, August 1, 2017 at Samaritan Bethany Home on Eighth where she resided the past year.

She was born Alice Marie Galloway on January 31, 1926 in rural Fillmore County. On October 29, 1948, she married Fenton A. Brady in Rochester. The couple moved to Lake City in 1949 where they owned and operated a tavern until 1962 when they moved back to Rochester.

Mrs. Brady worked at Crenlo for many years, retiring in the 1980's. She enjoyed bowling, traveling, ceramics, going to the casino, and following the Minnesota Twins.

She is survived by two sons, Robert "Bubba" Brady, and Kenneth Brady, both of Rochester; grandchildren, Jenna Marshall, Sarah Brady, and Brandon (Kara) Brady; great-grandchildren, Madalyn Marshall, Kienna Marshall, and Quinton Brady; in addition to one great-great-grandchild, Elliot Busian. She was preceded in death by her husband, Fenton; three daughters and a son, Jean, Carol, Dawn and Keith; a brother, James Galloway; and a sister, Dorothy Peter.

A funeral service is scheduled for 11:00 a.m. Monday, August 7, 2017 in the River Park Chapel at Macken Funeral Home officiated by Rev. Thomas Loomis. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home on Monday (10:00-11:00AM). Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
